Reader, I can hardly believe it myself, but 50ShadesofBrave hits its 10 year anniversary in a matter of weeks! The blog itself was conceived as a record of my commitment to mark my 50th year with a series of challenges – you can read about the inspiration (and to be honest the ‘necessity’) of that in this post https://50shadesofbrave.blog/2016/01/02/whats-it-all-about/ The name 50ShadesofBrave was coined by my creative and most supportive friend Heather, and it fitted the bill exactly for the challenges that lay ahead.
I can hardly get my head around the fact that as we enter 2026, I am on the cusp of turning 60… and whilst I still love everything about this blog and whilst its title is still very relevant to the way in which I show up to life (often when I really don’t feel very ‘brave’ at all), I feel the time has come to refresh and renew!
Which is where you come in!
I am looking for help to find a similarly inspiring and catchy title for the blog that reflects my onward journey through my 60s.
Please put on your most creative thinking caps and send me some ideas, either as comments or by email / contact form.
I’d also love for you to share some ideas for new challenges that I can get my teeth into. Maybe things related to 60 – for example things that I can do for 60 seconds, 60 minutes, or 60 times. Alternatively, just some ideas for what a mad 60 year old could set herself as a challenge!
